this is me
Bee is twenty-one years old, looks like someone famous, and likes pretty but confusing men. (...she also enjoys long walks on the beach, and her favorite color is yellow. Call 0900-OMGWTF for flirty friendship and MAYBE MORE.) Her hobbies include: being a big dork, photography, licking her TV when David Duchovny's face appears on it, and greeting people in French. She is fiercely loyal, tolerant, and always willing to help a friend in need. People with poor written language skills make her cry. She loves unicorns. (Probably. I might just be making that up.) She says "HEE!" a lot. In summary: she's pretty much awesome.

-TV. A lot.
-My late puppy. She was cute, little, and sweet! I miss her kisses every day!
-Sugarland. Jennifer and Kristian are ridiculous amounts of adorable. I choose to pretend that both of them are unmarried and carrying out a secret love affair. Denial? Perhaps. The last concert I went to Jennifer started singing "Hot In Herre" by Nelly. How can you get more awesome than that?
-Ice skating. More specifically pair skating, and even more specifically Jamie Sale and David Pelletier. As

mon_aimee would put it: Sex. On. Ice.
-Photography. Of the black and white variety, especially when I can do everything myself, including developing the film and the pictures.
-My digital camera, and all my beautiful lenses that go along with it.
-Proper grammar. Spelling and punctuation are love. No, seriously.
-Coffee.
-The first three (or last three, depending on how you look at it) Star Wars movies. The good ones.
-Musicals.
-Television Without Pity. I would not have survived the last three seasons of Alias without Erin Daily’s delightfully snarky commentary.
-Recaps of television shows in general.
-Sleeping.
-Actresses who have generally not achieved the status of “superstar.” Maura Tierney, Diane Farr, Gillian Anderson, and Lena Olin.
-Michael Vartan. Seriously. No, SERIOUSLY. He’s like that perfect guy that you dream of but don’t think can ever really exist. But, *dreamy sigh*, he does.
-French, especially when the above mentioned is speaking it. I like to think I'm not bad at the language myself, having spent a summer studying and living in Paris. Which leads me to...
-French food. All of it. It is glorious. If anyone, ANYONE can tell me where to find fromage frais in this damn country, I'd really appreciate it, because I miss it so much it makes me want to cry.
-Jennifer Garner and Michael Vartan. Together, as one perfect pair. Apart I only like him now, due to Jennifer Garner's apparent poor husband-selecting abilities.
-David Duchovny, up until he decided to doom us to a final two seasons of The X-Files without Mulder. I mean, come one. X-Files without Mulder? Sigh. But since I think he was a driving factor in getting the second movie made, I suppose I can like him again.
-David Krumholtz. And his fantastic hair.
-The entire cast of Bones, because I'm a sucker for shows who are all "we are the best of friends!" And Emily and David together are hilarious. On or off screen.
-My iPod. Both new and old. I got a new yellow nano named Captain Awesome recently to hold me over until I finally, FINALLY get an iPhone in September. I also have my (black, video, sexy) old one named Yossarian after the protagonist in Catch-22. And my very first beautiful green iPod mini is Dill Pepe, referred to as Pepe for short. Pepe doesn't really work anymore.
-My MacBook Pro.
-All Apple products. No, really, all of them. Every. Single. One.
-Being alone. It’s how I de-stress. Although that idea seems to be lost on most people.
-My DVR.
-Hockey.
-Football (Kansas City Chiefs)
-College basketball (KU Jayhawks)
-Many, many kinds of music.
-Zambonies. Hee.
-LJ icons. I’m pretty sure I belong to more icon communities as I have actual friends on my FL, despite the fact that I rarely even post anymore, I feel a great need for my icons to continue to reflect my current fandom obsessions.
-The very beginning of a new TV obsession.
-Kids! Three-year-olds are my absolute favorite. Infant->1 = also adorable. 2 = annoying. 4-6 = still hilarious and mostly tolerable. And then they just get annoying around the age of 7-8.
-Good fanfic. Of the romantic variety.
-Fanfic that is SO bad it's hilarious.
-Chocolate, especially dark. And pickles, of the dill variety.

-Oreos. Just, ew.
-Red meat.
-People who think they are superior because they don't use the Internet for anything other than what is absolutely necessary for school/work/communication.
-People who think they are superior because they don’t watch TV.
-People who think I belong in an institution because of my fangirl ways.
-People who say “It’s just a show/movie!” Shut up, people.
-People who DVDs of mine and don’t give them back.
-People who stand behind me while I’m watching a show or movie or while I’m on the computer.
-People who are stupid.

-When my quiet/alone time is interrupted.
-My old orchestra conductor. Stupid, condescending bastard.

-Bad fanfic, but not so bad that it's funny. Just bad. Painful. Much like everything I attempt to write.
-Times New Roman. No. Really. Pick any other font. Except Curlz, or Comic Sans.

This journal is FRIENDS ONLY thanks to my watching way too many "bad guy" shows. Because of this, I now automatically think of the worst possible outcome of a situation. Example? Walking my dog at night. My first thought? 'There may be someone hiding in the back of that truck. I should probably walk in a wide circle around it.' Sigh. But back to the point.
